Building a screenpop URL using User to User Information

Last Updated : Sep 24, 2024 |

About this task

Agents can use screenpops to access external web pages and complete their tasks. For example, a screenpop can display information about currency exchange rates on the website.

For a simple screenpop task, customers can use the built-in screenpop feature in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud to create the screenpop. The data in the User to User Information (UUI) field is used to build the screenpop URL. Since UUI is in the hexadecimal format, customer data stored in the hexadecimal format must first be converted to the ASCII format, parsed, and then retrieved. The custom widget handles the complex screenpops where authentication is required.

Before you begin

Ensure to log in to Application Center Administration as the account administrator.
