Creating engagement design workflow with context data

Last Updated : Oct 24, 2024 |

About this task

You can transfer data between Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud and Avaya Experience Platform™ On-Prem solutions by adding data through the Redirect to External task. You can add the required data variables through the context data section.

You can create an engagement design workflow that sends context data using the Redirect To External task. Context data embeds the data in the SIP call headers. The SIP call header merges and stores the data in the User to User Information (UUI) field in the SIP call directed towards the agent on Avaya Workspaces. Avaya Workspaces uses the UUI field to bring up built-in screenpop, while the custom widget can perform complex tasks such as bring up screenpop and retrieve the data from Customer Journey.
