The VDI feature is then available to an agent or a group of agents. The agent can log in from a local browser or from a browser in a VDI environment to Avaya Workspaces. However, the agent login time increases in a non-VDI environment. Hence, you must enable VDI Enabled only if you have agents that are going to use the VDI feature. For more information about enabling the VDI setting, see Configuring a profile.
Note:
If you configure the Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) agent with a VDI-disabled profile, the agent can log in from a local browser to Avaya Workspaces. However, the agent must not log in from a browser in a VDI environment to Avaya Workspaces as this configuration is not supported and results in poor audio quality.
