Configuring the system range and user voice plan

About this task

Configure the system range and user voice plan for Communication Manager that you have on-premise in Application Center Administration. The system range such as not ready reason code is a generic range common to all users, and the user voice plan such as extension ranges and agent login ID ranges are specific to a particular user profile.

Note:
  • Perform this procedure for all the Communication Managers configured.

  • If Communication Manager synchronization is in progress, you cannot update the existing voice plan details.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that you configure the following:

    • An account with the Hybrid Voice feature enabled.

    • The Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway element.

    • The Communication Manager element.

    • A profile with the Hybrid Voice feature enabled.

  • Ensure to log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Hybrid Voice > Voice Plan.
  2. From the Avaya Communication Manager list, select the Communication Manager name for which you want to configure the voice plan.
  3. To configure Not Ready (Aux Work) Reason Code Ranges, click System Ranges.
  4. Click Edit icon.
  5. On the Edit System Ranges page, enter the range.

    You can set the range as 1:9 if two-digit Not Ready codes are not enabled in Communication Manager.

    You can set the range as 1:99 if two-digit Not Ready codes are enabled in Communication Manager.

  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Create User Voice Plan.
  8. On the Create New Voice Plan page, type the voice plan name in the Name of Voice Plan field.
  9. In the Extension ranges field, type the dial plan ranges for stations.

    You can use the colon (:) to specify the range for the ranges fields. For example, 214565: 214585.

  10. In the Agent Login ID ranges field, type the dial plan ranges for agents.

    Use the colon (:) to specify the range for the ranges fields.

  11. From the User Profile list, select the user profile for which the Hybrid Voice feature is enabled.
  12. In the Description field, type the description for the voice plan.
  13. Click Save.
