Guidance on configuring users on System Manager for synchronization

System Manager user configuration exists with one Communication Profile of type Endpoint:

  • On the Identity tab of User Profile, the administrator must configure the basic user details in the First Name, Last Name, and Login Name fields.

  • On the Communication Profile tab of User Profile, the administrator must configure one communication profile with name Primary in Add/Remove Comm Profile Set with the following details:

    • Communication Profile Password in the Comm-Profile Password and Re-enter Comm-Profile Password fields.

    • Communication Address. There must be a minimum of one address with Type as Avaya SIP and Fully Qualified Address value as [Extension]@[DomainName].

    • Session Manager Profile with required fields such as Primary Session Manager in the SIP Registration area, Home Location in the Call Routing Settings area, and Origination Sequence and Termination Sequence in the Application Sequences area.

    • CM Endpoint Profile with required fields such as System, Profile Type as Endpoint, Extension, Template, Set Type as 9641SIPCC, Preferred Handle with value as [Extension]@[DomainName], and SIP URI with value as [Extension]@[DomainName].

A secondary profile of type Agent must exist.

  • Add a secondary communication profile with name as Agent or Secondary in Add/Remove Comm Profile Set.

  • Enable CM Endpoint Profile for this profile set.

  • Configure CM Endpoint Profile with required fields such as System, Profile Type as Agent, Login Id Extension is Agent Login ID from Communication Manager, and Password is Agent Password set on Communication Manager for the Agent Login ID.
