Adding a new provider

About this task

You need a provider with AI capabilities to supply the Agent Assist widget to agents. This task outlines the steps to use Google Dialogflow as the AI provider.

If you do not already have a provider, you can create one in Google Dialogflow using your Google account and Google Dialogflow project ID. You need a credential file in JSON format that contains credentials to access your Google Dialogflow project.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have the following permission on your service account for your Google Dialogflow project: A Google Dialogflow CX Agent Assist.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Contact Center > Agent Assist.
  2. In the Provider tab, click Add New Provider.
  3. In the Provider Name field, type a name for the provider.
  4. In the Location field, type or paste the location of Agent Assist from GCP for the Google Dialogflow project.

    For example, the project location can be "global".

  5. In the Project Name field, type or paste the project ID of the Google Dialogflow project.
  6. To upload the credentials, click Select File and navigate to the credentials file.
  7. Click Save.
