To create a new social media account for monitoring and working with your Instagram business account, you must add the Instagram account details to Application Center Administration.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have a Meta business account.
Ensure that you have a Facebook account and at least one business account. The business account must have at least one Facebook page to which you can link your Instagram account.
Ensure that your Facebook account or Meta business account is not restricted. For more information about recovering a restricted account, see Meta Business Help Center.
Ensure that you have an Instagram professional account. If you do not have a professional account, use your Facebook account credentials to create an account.
Add Instagram and Facebook accounts to the same Meta Accounts Center. For more information about adding the accounts to the same Account Center, see Meta Business Help Center.
Link the Instagram professional account to your Facebook business pages.
Procedure
In the navigation tree, click Channels > Messaging.
On the Messaging Integrations page, click Instagram > Create Instagram Profile.
Accept the terms of service and click Create Profile.
On the Meta window, click Edit settings.
You can view this window only if you are logged in to Meta. If you are not logged in, use your Meta credentials to log in.
On the What Instagram professional accounts do you want to use with <Meta account name> window, select your Instagram professional account and click Next.
On the What Pages do you want to use with <Meta account name> window, select the required pages and click Next.
On the What is <Meta account name> allowed to do window, select the required permissions for the Instagram pages and click Done.
On the window that confirms that <Meta account name> is linked to Instagram, click Ok.
The Messaging Integrations page displays the Instagram account.
