Enabling the VDI feature for an agent

Last Updated : Mar 20, 2024 |

About this task

Use this procedure to enable the VDI feature for an agent or a group of agents during profile configuration.

After you enable the VDI feature, the agent can log in to Avaya Workspaces from a local browser or a browser in a VDI environment. However, the login time of the agent increases in a non-VDI environment. Hence, enable VDI only if you have agents who will use the VDI feature.

Note:

If you configure the agent with a VDI-disabled profile, the agent can log in to Avaya Workspaces from a local browser. However, the agent must not log in to Avaya Workspaces from a browser in a VDI environment, as this configuration is not supported and results in poor audio quality.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an administrator with the Workspaces Admin Widgets Administrators role.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Workspaces > UX Profiles.
