Overriding a widget URL

About this task

By default, widgets are hosted at the library URL that you specify in the profile configuration. You can override the default URL to host your widgets at a different location. For example, you can change the URL to move your widgets to a development environment.

After you set a new URL, you must log in to Avaya Workspaces and check if the updated widget loads. Some URLs might not be available from your environment due to the firewall policy and network configuration.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Workspaces > Widget Manager.
  2. On the Custom Widgets page, for the widget to update, click the Override URL icon.
  3. In the Update Override URL window, type the new URL in the https://example.com format.
  4. Click OK.

Log in to Avaya Workspaces with the role that has access to the corresponding layout and check if the widget loads.
