Avaya Experience Platform (On-Prem + Connect) solution components

Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) consists of the following main components. Each component is comprised of services that provide specific functionality for the solution:

  • Avaya Workspaces: Avaya Workspaces is a browser-based application through which contact center agents can handle inbound customer interactions.

  • Application Center Administration: Application Center Administration is a browser-based unified management application providing a single administration experience across the solution for multiple platforms and users.

  • Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway: Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway is a gateway platform that must be deployed at the customer premise. Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway hosts application connectors that enable the integration of Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud services with Avaya Experience Platform™ On-Prem.

    Note:

    Avaya Cloud Delivery is responsible for downloading and deploying Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway as part of the Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) service activation. Customers cannot download Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway from Avaya PLDS.

  • Avaya Experience Platform™ On-Prem: Avaya Experience Platform™ On-Prem is the Avaya flagship voice product for customer engagement. The product co-resides on Avaya Aura® Communication Manager, a key component of the Avaya Aura® communications platform. Existing Avaya Experience Platform™ On-Prem customers can continue to use their on-premises infrastructure and investment for voice routing and call handling.

  • Avaya Aura® Device Services: Avaya Aura® Device Services provides directory search and transfer capabilities to hybrid voice agents.

  • Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise: Avaya SBCE secures media between the enterprise network and the public cloud.

  • Messaging and Digital: Messaging and Digital provide services that manage routing and control of digital interactions. You can configure business rules for managing routing based on customer and interaction data. The digital pre-routing service makes this data available to Orchestration workflows to enhance the solution routing capabilities.
