Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication scheme that enables users to log in with a single ID to independent software applications. With SSO, when an agent logs in to Avaya Workspaces, the agent is logged into all the Avaya Workspaces services, including:

• Avaya Workspaces

• Salesforce Customer Relationship Management connector

• Enterprise search using Avaya Aura® Device Services

Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) supports the following Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) Identity Providers:

• Active Directory (Windows Server 2016 and 2019)

• Active Directory Federation Services

• Azure Active Directory

• Okta

Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) supports the standard browser redirect-based SSO using the SAMLv2 protocol.
