Configuring BYOBot SIP virtual agent details

About this task

After you configure the basic settings of a BYOBot SIP virtual agent, you can configure additional details for integration with your workflow.

The Virtual Agent Details tab includes an Advanced Parameters option. You do not have to change or update any of these parameters. However, you can do so or add custom parameters to suit your requirements.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, click the Virtual Agents icon.
  2. On the Virtual Agents page, locate the BYOBot SIP virtual agent to configure and click the Edit icon.
  3. Click the Virtual Agent Details tab.
  4. In the BOT SIP URI field, enter a SIP address for the virtual agent.

    You can enter a SIP address in any format. For example, you can enter a number or an address in the following format: user@domain.

  5. In the Custom header for EngagementID field, enter a custom SIP header name that contains the engagement ID.
  6. Optional To update any advanced parameters for the virtual agent, click Advanced Parameters.

  7. To save the virtual agent, click one of the following:
    • Save Draft: To save the virtual agent as a draft.

    • Save Version: To save the virtual agent as a version.
