Configuring the Operations tasks

About this task

You can use the Operations task for two purposes. You can use the Operations task to assign the calling number as the contact number for the callback. You can also use the Operations task to assign the new phone number the customer enters as the contact number for the callback.

Procedure

  1. To assign the calling number as the contact number for the callback, click the Operations task next to the Callback Number input task, and in the Properties pane, do the following:
    1. In the Variable list, select ContactNumber.
    2. In the Type list, select Variable.
    3. In the From list, select CallingNumber.
  2. To assign the new phone number the customer enters as the contact number for the callback, click the Operations task next to the Enter Phone Number input task, and in the Properties pane, do the following:
    1. In the Variable list, select ContactNumber.
    2. In the Type list, select Input.
    3. In the From list, select the input task from which you collect the new phone number from the customer.
