Creating an exit path

About this task

Create new exit paths and configure them to create a new output for a task. A new path must have at least one condition with a question and a corresponding operator.

Procedure

  1. In the Self-service Flows view, locate the required self-service flow and click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the Flow creator tab.
  3. On the canvas, click the task to configure exit paths.

    Automation shows the Properties pane.

  4. Click the Exit paths tab.
  5. In the Exit Paths window, click the Add icon.

    Automation opens the Path window.

  6. In the Pathname field, type a path name.
  7. To add a condition, click the Add icon and select Condition.
  8. In the Select an Input field, select an Input task.
  9. In the Operator field, select an operator.

    If you select a question of the True/False or Options type, you can find the option names in the list of operators.

  10. To add a new group of conditions, click the Add icon and select Group.
  11. To set up complex conditions, in the drop-down list above the conditions, select one of the following:
    • all: To trigger the path when all the conditions are met.

    • any: To trigger the path when any of the conditions is met.

  12. To save the changes, click the Save icon.

Result

Automation displays the new path in the list of paths and on the canvas as an output of the configured task.
