Configuring attributes

About this task

Configure what questions in a self-service flow provide values for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud attributes.

Before you begin

  • Add an Input task and configure a question to collect the information relevant for attributes.

  • Ensure you have the list of attributes configured in the Contact Center section of Application Center Administration.

Procedure

  1. In the Self-service Flows view, locate the required self-service flow and click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the Flow creator tab.
  3. On the palette, click the Store Context task and drag and drop the task to the canvas.
  4. Click the Store Context task to configure.

    Automation shows the Properties pane.

  5. In the Name field, type a task name.
  6. Click the Attributes tab.

    Automation shows the Attributes window.

  7. To add a new attribute, click the Add icon.

    Automation shows the Attribute window.

  8. In the Attribute name field, type the name of the attribute configured in Application Center Administration.
  9. In the Values field, select the question to provide a value for the attribute.

    Select one question for one attribute. Automation sends a customer's answer to the selected question as the attribute value to Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

  10. To save the changes, click the Save icon.

    Automation shows the attribute in the list of attributes you configured.

  11. Repeat steps 7 to 10 for all attributes to configure.
