Configuring customer identifiers

About this task

Configure what questions in a self-service flow provide values for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud customer identification keys.

Before you begin

Add an Input task and configure a question to collect information relevant for customer identification.

Procedure

  1. In the Self-service Flows view, locate the required self-service flow and click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the Flow creator tab.
  3. On the palette, click the Store Context task and drag and drop the task to the canvas.
  4. Click the Store Context task to configure.

    Automation shows the Properties pane.

  5. In the Name field, type a task name.
  6. Click the Customer Identifiers tab.

    Automation shows the Customer Identifiers window.

  7. To add a new customer identifier, click the Add icon.

    Automation shows the Customer Identifier window.

  8. In the Key field, select the required customer identifier.
  9. Optional For a customized customer identifier, in the Custom key name field, type a key name.
  10. In the Values field, select an Input task with a question that collects data for the customer identifier.

    Automation sends a customer answer to the selected question as the key value to Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

  11. To save the changes, click the Save icon.

    Automation shows the customer identifier in the list of identifiers you configured.

  12. Repeat steps 7 to 11 for all questions to which you link customer identifiers.
