With the Avaya Cloud Office™ application, you can make phone calls, hold video meetings, and communicate with your colleagues in a team chat. You can also invite third-party users to collaborate on a project. The Avaya Cloud Office™ application is available on web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

As an agent or a supervisor, you can log in to the Avaya Cloud Office™ provider in Avaya Workspaces and access enabled Avaya Cloud Office™ contacts from the Corporate Contacts widget.

You can perform the following actions with Avaya Cloud Office™ contacts from the Corporate Contacts widget:

  • View the Presence states of contacts

  • Search for contacts and groups

  • Make direct calls and transfer customer calls

  • Make consultation calls

  • Add contacts to the Favorites list

If the account administrator enables extension calling, the user's Avaya Cloud Office™ extension is the default number to call and transfer a call.

If the account administrator enables the chat functionality, you can also perform the following actions:

  • Search for chats

  • Send messages in one-to-one and group chats

  • Send messages in a group conversation

To enable access to Avaya Cloud Office™ contacts in Avaya Workspaces, the account administrator must configure the Avaya Cloud Office™ integration with AXP Public Cloud. The administrator must also provide the credentials to log in to the Avaya Cloud Office™ provider. For more information about the Avaya Cloud Office™ integration, contact the account administrator.
