Inserting images in an email

About this task

You can insert inline images in an email of an active email contact. Avaya Workspaces supports images that are in *.apng, *.bmp, *.gif, *.ico, *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.png, *.psd, *.svg, *.tif, *.tiff, or *.webp formats.

The maximum size of the image is 3 MB, and the maximum size of an outbound email, including images and attachments, is 10 MB. In an email, an agent can have a maximum of five images at a time.

You can also copy and paste an inline image into an email.

The email widget displays the updated user interface. To enable the new user interface for the email widget, contact your administrator.

Procedure

In the navigation menu, click .
On the message toolbar, click and do one of the following to insert an image:
- Click and select the image from the local storage.
- Click and enter the URL of the image.
Optional Do any or all of the following to format the image:
- To add an alternative text, click and type the text.
- To set the image alignment, select , , or .
- To insert a paragraph around the image, click before or after the image.
- To add an image caption, click and enter an image caption.
