Third-party application installation on Avaya Vantage

Last Updated : May 13, 2021 |

You can install third-party communication applications on Avaya Vantage™ using one of the following options:

  • Your administrator can remotely push the Android Package (APK) of the application to the device for automatic installation.

  • You can install the application from Google Play Store, if available on your device.

  • You can install the application from third-party application stores and websites.

For information about installing applications on Avaya Vantage™, see Using Avaya Vantage™.

Some third-party applications might not function properly if Google Mobile Services (GMS) applications, including Google Play™ Store and Google Play Services, are not available on the Avaya Vantage™ device. Avaya Vantage™ does not include GMS applications, by default. To avail full functionality of a supported third-party communication application on Avaya Vantage™, contact your administrator for installing a Google application package that includes Google Play Store and Google Play Services.

Avaya Vantage™ also comes with a native cloud-based team collaboration and meeting application, Avaya Spaces. You can integrate Avaya Spaces with Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience to provide quick access to the Avaya Spaces dashboard and to join a Spaces meeting from the Calendar tab of the built-in UC experience.
