Logging in to the AE Services management console

About this task

Log in to the AE Services management console as a cust user.

The cust user is the default AE Services administrator. The cust user can access all AE Services management console tabs.

Before you begin

Obtain the AE Services server IP or virtual IP address from the mega-config.yml configuration file.

Procedure

  1. In your web browser, do one of the following:

    • For the Simplex deployment, type the IP address of the AE Services server.

    • For the local or geo-redundant High Availability deployment, type the virtual IP address of the AE Services server.

    When you access the AE Services server for the first time, your browser displays a security alert for an SSL certificate.

  2. To accept the SSL certificate, click Yes.
  3. On the Application Enablement Services management console login page, in Username, type cust.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. In Password, type the cust user password.

    When you log in for the first time, use the default "cust1234" password for the cust user. You must change the default password after the first login.

  6. Click Login.

    The browser displays the Application Enablement Services management console home page.
