Changing the default password for the cust account in local Linux

About this task

Change the user password for the Linux cust account. The local Linux cust account provides remote access to the Linux shell.

The password must contain a minimum of 14 characters including at least 1 uppercase character, 1 lowercase character, 1 alphanumeric character, and 1 special character. You cannot use the following characters: $ (dollar sign), ’ (apostrophe), " (quotation mark), \ (backslash), the space character, and any ASCII control character.

Procedure

  1. In your browser, log in to the AE Services management console using the following credentials:
    • Login: cust.

    • Password: cust1234.

  2. On the AE Services management console, go to Security > Account Management > Modify Login.
  3. On the Modify Login page, in Login ID, type cust.
  4. In the Password authentication section, in Enter password, type a new password.
  5. In Re-enter password, retype the new password.
  6. Click Apply.
