Restoring AE Services data

About this task

Restore the AE Services server data on a new server.

After restoring the data, restart AE Services.

Important:

Do not make any changes on the AE Services management console before restarting services to prevent a restore failure.

Procedure

  1. On the Application Enablement Services management console, go to Maintenance > Server Data > Restore.
  2. On the Restore Database Configuration page, click Choose File.
  3. Select the AE Services database backup file.
  4. Click Restore.
  5. For encrypted files enter the password when prompted and click Continue.
  6. On the Restore Database Configuration page, click Restart Services.
