Create a certificate signing request (CSR) for the AE Services server. AE Services generates a CSR with a private key.
Procedure
On the AE Services management console main menu, go to Security > Certificate Management > Server Certificates.
On the Server Certificates page, click Add.
On the Add Server Certificate page, in Certificate Alias, select the required alias for the certificate.
Leave the Create Self-Signed Certificate check box cleared.
In Enrollment Method, select Manual.
In Encryption Algorithm, select the required encryption algorithm.
The default value is 3DES.
In Password, type a password for the certificate key.
In Re-enter Password, retype the new password.
In Key Size, select the key size value.
The default value is 2048.
In Certificate Validity, specify the number of days before a certificate expires.
The default value is 1825.
In Distinguished Name (DN), type the LDAP entries required by your CA.
In Challenge Password, type a certificate key challenge password.
In Re-enter Challenge Password, retype the new challenge password.
In SAN IP Address, type the IP address of the SAN parameter.
In SAN DNS Name, type the IP address or hostname of the SAN parameter.
In Key Usage, select the setting required for your certificate.
In Extended Key Usage, select the setting required for your certificate.
Click Apply.
AE Services displays the certificate alias and certificate request in the .pem format. The certificate request contains a request text, a header and a trailer:
