The information in this section is recommendatory. You can change file locations, commands, and Kerberos related information. The procedure examples are based on the assumption that the Microsoft active directory domain controller supports Kerberos 5.
To integrate AE Services with Microsoft AD DS, an AE Services administrator and a Windows domain controller administrator must perform the following tasks:
Create an account for the AE Services server on the domain controller.
Generate a keytab file for the AE Services server account on the domain controller.
Install the Kerberos 5 RPMs on the AE Services server.
Edit the Kerberos 5 configuration file on the AE Services server.
Import the keytab file on the AE Services server.
Change from User Management authentication to Active Directory authentication on the AE Services server.
