Configuring AE Services for a sample application

About this task

Before running a sample application, configure the media and port properties on the AE Services server.

The default media file directory is /tmp.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to AE Services > DMCC > Media Properties.
  2. On the Media Properties page, in Player Directory, type /tmp.
  3. In Recorder Directory, type /tmp.
  4. Click Apply Changes.
  5. On the AE Services management console, go to Networking > Ports.
  6. On the Ports page, ensure that Unencrypted Port is enabled.
  7. Restart the DMCC service.
  8. From the Linux command line, copy the application media files to the /tmp directory.
