Enabling EASG

About this task

Avaya recommends that you enable EASG. By enabling Avaya Logins, you grant Avaya access to your system, which is necessary to maximize the Avaya support performance. In addition to enabling the Avaya Logins, you must register your AE Services server with Avaya and configure it for remote connectivity and alarming. For additional information about registering products and establishing remote access and alarming, go to the Avaya support site.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to Security > PAM > PAM Password Manager.
  2. In the Optional Additional Authentication Protocols section, select Enable EASG user access.

    AE Services enables for selection check boxes against the user associated with the EASG Linux group. By default, all check boxes are selected.

  3. Optional Deselect the check boxes against the users for whom not to enable EASG.
