Enabling a login audit

About this task

Enable and configure an audit process for disabling an unused Linux account.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to Security > Audit > Login Audit.
  2. On the Unused Login Audit page, in Enable the Audit, select Yes.
  3. In Time to Begin Audit Each Day, select the time at which AE Services starts auditing accounts.

    The value is 0 through 23 hours.

  4. In Maximum Unused Time, select the number of days for which AE Services keeps an unused account enabled.

    When the limit exceeds, AE Services disables the account.

  5. Click Apply.
