Configuring a welcome message

About this task

Configure the message that AE Services displays before a user logs in to the AE Services management console.

The welcome message text is stored in /etc/issue. If the etc/issue file does not exist, AE Services does not display a welcome message.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to Security  > PAM > PAM Issue.
  2. Select Display a message prior to login.
  3. In the text box, type the message text.
  4. Click Apply Changes.
  5. On the Apply changes to PAM Issue page, click Apply.
