Configuring CTI users

About this task

Edit the CTI user configuration. For example, you can modify the CTI user name or access rights.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to Security > Security Database > CTI Users > List All Users.
  2. On the CTI Users page, select a user ID.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In Worktop Name, select your worktop name.
  5. Optional To grant unrestricted device control and monitoring rights to the CTI user, select Unrestricted Access.
  6. Optional If Unrestricted Access is cleared, do the following:
    1. To grant device control permissions to the CTI user, in Call Origination/Termination and Device Status, select a device group.
    2. To grant device monitoring permissions to the CTI user, in Device Monitoring, select a device group.
    3. To grant call on device monitoring permissions to the CTI user, in Calls On A Device Monitoring, select a device group.
    4. To grant call monitoring permissions to the CTI user, select Call Monitoring.
    5. To grant call routing permissions to the CTI user, in Allow Routing on Listed Devices, select a device group.
  7. Click Apply Changes.
  8. On the Apply Changes to CTI User Properties page, click Apply.
