The .csv device import file details

Import multiple devices to the security database using a .csv file. The .csv file must contain the following information:

  • Device ID

  • Device location

  • Device type

  • Tlink group

Parameter

Description

device_id

Assigns an ID number to the device. You can type a numeric value.

You cannot assign a new ID to an existing device.

location

Defines the location of the device. You can type an alphanumeric value or leave the field empty.

device_type

Defines the type of the device.

The allowed values are:

  • ACD

  • AGENT ID

  • FAX

  • MODEM

  • PHONE

  • VDN

This option cannot be empty. This value is not case-sensitive. For example, you can type acd or ACD.

TlinkGroup

Associates the device with a Tlink group.

You can type one of the following values:

  • Any

  • None

  • Tlink group name that you configure in the security database
