Setting up the security database configuration properties

About this task

You can configure the security database settings for DMCC, TSAPI, and JTAPI services.

Enable the security database for DMCC if you administer the AE Services server to support DMCC first-party and third-party call control applications and want AE Services to apply security database authorization to each service request based on the device ID.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to Security > Security Database  > Control.
  2. To enable the security database for the DMCC service, select Enable SDB for DMCC Service.

    By default, Enable SDB for DMCC Service is cleared.

  3. To disable security database for TSAPI and JTAPI services, clear Enable SDB for TSAPI Service and JTAPI.

    By default, Enable SDB for TSAPI Service and JTAPI is selected.

  4. Click Apply Changes.
  5. On the Apply Changes to SDB Control Configuration Properties page, click Apply.
  6. Restart the required services for the changes to take effect.
