Advanced TSAPI link settings

Last Updated : Oct 01, 2021 |

The following table lists the advanced TSAPI service settings that you can modify:

Name

Description

TCP Send Wait Time

Specifies the delay in milliseconds between each send attempt.

The value range is 50 through 1,000. The default value is 300.

TCP Send Retries

Specifies the number of times that the TSAPI service reattempts to send the message.

The value range is 1 through 10. The default value is 5.

Persistent AAOs

Prevents the TSAPI service from immediately disconnecting AAOs for a client application. The TSAPI service loses communication with the application, either because of a network outage between the client and server or because you closed the application.

Select this check box to enable the Persistent AAOs feature.

Persistent AAO Audit Interval (minutes)

Specifies the frequency at which the audit is performed to remove AAOs that are older than the Persistent AAO Maximum Age setting.

The value range is 0 through 180. The default value is 2.

You can change this setting only when the Persistent AAOs check box is selected.

Persistent AAO Maximum Age (minutes)

Specifies the number of minutes during which the TSAPI service temporarily maintains ASAI Domain Control and Event Notification AAOs for an application that loses communication with the TSAPI service.

The value range is 1 through 180. The default value is 2.

You can change this setting only when the Persistent AAOs check box is selected.

TSAPI Service Advertising Mode

Controls the Tlinks that are available to TSAPI applications.

The options are:

  • Advertise all Tlinks: This is the default setting. All Tlinks are available to TSAPI applications. When a Tlink is out of service, the TSAPI application establishes a session with the TSAPI service using that Tlink. Any TSAPI requests fail when forwarded to the Routing Core Server monitoring an extension or establishing a call.

  • Advertise only those Tlinks that are currently in service: Only the Tlinks in service are available to TSAPI applications.
