Adding Aux work reason codes

About this task

Add up to 99 reason codes to go into Aux work mode. You can determine how agents enter the configured Aux work reason codes on the Agents screen of the Contact Center tab.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Contact Center > Reason Codes.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Aux Work Reason Codes screen, click the Add icon.

    The Configuration Server displays the Aux work reason code configuration fields.

  3. On the top half of the screen, in Code, type the Aux work reason code number.

    You can type a value from 1 to 99. The contact center uses the reason code 0 as a default system value.

  4. In Name, type the Aux work reason code name.

    You can type a maximum of 35 Unicode characters.

  5. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.

    The Configuration Server saves the Aux work reason code configuration and redirects you to the Aux Work Reason Codes screen.
