Adding dial plan call types

About this task

Configure call types and associate them with a particular dial plan configuration to set up routing for specific groups of calls.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > System > Dial Plan Call Types.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Dial Plan Call Types page, click the Add icon.

    Configuration Server displays the call type configuration fields.

  3. On the top half of the page, in Name, type the call type name.

    You can type a maximum of 35 alphanumeric characters.

  4. Optional In Description, type a short description for the call type.

    You can type a maximum of 50 Unicode characters.

  5. At the top-right corner of the page, click Commit.

    Configuration Server saves the call type configuration and redirects you to the Dial Plan Call Types page.
