Configuring Call Park and Unpark

About this task

Configure the Call Park feature parameters for your contact center. With the Call Park feature, a user can put a call on hold and retrieve it from any other endpoint within the contact center.

You can configure the call park timeout.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Parameters > Global Configurations.
  2. On the Global Configurations page, click Call Park/Unpark.

    Configuration Server displays the Add New Global Config pane on the right.

  3. In the Call Park Timeout Interval (minutes) field, type the number of minutes that the contact center parks a call at an extension.

    The value range is 1 to 90 minutes. The default value is 10.

  4. Click SAVE.

    Configuration Server saves the Call Park configuration.
