Configuring Call Pickup

About this task

Configure the Call Pickup feature parameters for your contact center. With the Call Pickup feature, users can answer calls ringing at another group member's phone.

When the endpoint of one of the group members starts ringing, other group members get a notification on the display and an audio notification. You can set two separate timers to delay the notifications.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Parameters > Global Configurations.
  2. On the Global Configurations page, click Call Pickup.

    Configuration Server displays the Add New Global Config pane on the right.

  3. To enable call pickup alerting, select the Call Pickup Alerting? check box.
  4. Click SAVE.

    Configuration Server saves the Call Pickup configuration.
