Configuring a timer for call forwarding

Last Updated : May 07, 2024 |

About this task

You can configure the number of ring cycles for call forwarding. Before the contact center forwards an unanswered call to another party, the caller hears a certain number of rings. One ring cycle is six seconds. By default, the contact center forwards the call after two ring cycles.

For more information about call forwarding, see the call forward overview section in Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity Solution Description.
