Configuring permission sets for external callers

About this task

Specify a default permission set that agents and supervisors have for processing calls outside of the organization. A permission set is a collection of settings that allow agents and supervisors to access various features. You can select a different permission set when configuring agents, endpoints, vectors, and VDNs.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Parameters > Global Configurations.
  2. On the Global Configurations page, click COR applied to external users.

    Configuration Server displays the Add New Global Config pane on the right.

  3. In Permission Sets (COR), select a permission set.

    You can configure permission sets on the Permission Sets (COR) page of the System tab.

  4. At the top-right corner of the page, click Save.

    Configuration Server displays the saved configuration on the Global Configurations page.
