Adding vector routing tables

Last Updated : Feb 24, 2023 |

About this task

Add a vector routing table and configure the routing digits for it. The contact center uses vector routing tables for verifying conditions in the goto vector step. You can add up to 999 table IDs and manage vector routing table configuration.

Procedure

  1. On the Configuration Server web portal, go to Administration > Contact Center > Vector Routing Tables.
  2. At the top-right corner of the Vector Routing Tables screen, click the Add icon.

The Configuration Server displays the vector routing table configuration fields.

  3. On the top half of the screen, in Table ID, type the vector routing table ID.

You can type a number from 1 to 99,999. You can use the vector routing table ID for setting up a condition in the goto vector step.

  4. In Name, type the vector routing table name.

You can type a maximum of 35 Unicode characters.

  5. Optional To sort routing numbers the next time you open the routing table, select the Sort check box.

The Configuration Server sorts plus signs (+) first, then question marks (?), and then digits (0–9).

  6. In the Routing Number(s) section, click Add New.
  7. In the entry field, type the routing number.

You can type a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 16 digits from 0 to 9. You can also use a plus sign (+) or a question mark (?) as wildcard characters.

  8. To add more routing numbers to your vector routing table, repeat steps 6 to 7.
  9. At the top-right corner of the screen, click Commit.

The Configuration Server saves the vector routing table configuration and redirects you to the Vector Routing Tables screen.
