Contact center service log file location

The data privacy administrator can access service log files to verify maintenance procedures and track container events. To access service log files, access the Configuration Server or Routing Core Server console. The administrator can also use an SFTP client to access service log file directories and extract the required data.

Maintains agent state and endpoint status.

Check AMS log files if you have issues with call routing, voice paths or agent state display in CMS.

Application Enablement Services Interface (AESi)

/var/log/mega/aesi

Allows Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity to interface with Application Enablement Services using the AES protocol.

Check AESi log files when you have issues with DMCC call recording.

Arbiter

/var/log/mega/arbiter

Controls failovers from one server to another when a service stops working or a server goes down.

Call Management System Interface (CMSi)

/var/log/mega/cmsi

Performs call processing by sending messages from reporting adjuncts to the Shared Memory.

Check CMSi log files when CMS reports are not synchronized with the Shared Memory or CMS displays agent states, VDNs, or skills incorrectly.

Note:

For CMS logs, you must not set the log level to TRACE.

High Availability Service

/var/log/mega/ha_svc

Controls the data flow between redundant server pairs and synchronizes the Shared Memory data.

OpenSIPS

/var/log/mega/opensips/opensips.log

Listens to SIP traffic and handles SIP messages and events, including phone registration.

OpenSIPS Config Daemon

/var/log/mega/opensips_config_daemon

Extracts data from the Configuration Server web portal and pulls the converted data to the OpenSIPS database.

Routing Engine

/var/log/mega/routing_engine

Sends pairing responses to the Media Server.

Script Executor

/var/log/mega/script_executor

Queues ACD calls to skills by executing call vectoring scripts.

Check Script Executor log files when the contact center plays announcements or Music on Hold or queues calls incorrectly.

SNGREP

Provides snapshots of SIP events, including INVITE, SUBSCRIBE, NOTIFY, and REGISTER messages.

To access SNGREP, run the docker exec -it opensips sngrep command.

SS Tester

To access SS Tester, run the docker exec -it main bash ./aicore/state_tools/ss_tester command.

Telephony Feature Server

/var/log/mega/mediaserver

Provides contact center features.
