Accessing a contact center server from the Configuration Server using SSH

About this task

Access the alternate Configuration Server or a Routing Core Server from the active Configuration Server using SSH. SSH provides a quick access to the contact center servers for configuration and maintenance.

Before you begin

Copy the SSH public key to all contact center servers. For more information about SSH configuration, see the Routing Core installation section in Deploying Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Open the console on the active Configuration Server.

    • Use the SSH client to log in to the active Configuration Server.

  2. To log in to a contact center server, run the following command:

    ssh mega@<server_IP_address>, where server_IP_address is the static IP address of the alternate Configuration Server or a Routing Core Server in your contact center.
