Configuring a Source Number

About this task

The Source Number setting ensures that the DECT system frequency remains correctly configured following a restart of theIP Office system. The Source Number string is required in the IP Office configuration only when the Avaya Wireless DECT system frequency is set to either North America or South America.

Configure the Source Number string in IP Office Manager using the following procedure:

Procedure

  1. In IP Office Manager, retrieve the IP Office configuration.
  2. Navigate to the NoUser user.
  3. Click the Source Numbers tab.
  4. Click the Add button, enter the required Source Number, and click OK.

    • For installations in Europe, enter IPBS_FR_EU

    • For installations in North America, enter IPBS_FR_NA

    • For installations in South America, IPBS_FR_SA

  5. Save the configuration back to the IP Office system.
