The VoIP codecs used can be set on the individual IP DECT line. However, where possible it is recommended to set the codecs at the system level and then use the same set of codecs across the whole system.
Even if intending to set the codecs used on the IP DECT line, the system codecs defines the codecs available for use.
The 3700 Series phones do not support the OPUS and G.723 codecs.
The 3755 and 3759 phones require the G.722 codec to be supported.
Procedure
Using IP Office Manager, retrieve the configuration from the IP Office system.
Click System and select the VoIP tab.
Use the Available Codecs list to select which codecs are available for use.
Adjust the Default Code Selection to ensure that the required codecs are available.
Click OK and save the configuration back to the system.
