The following processes are only required if the DECT system is operating in the same area as other DECT systems.

The Primary Access Rights Identifier (PARI) is a part of the IPBS broadcast identity, which uniquely identifies each DECT system. This PARI is automatically assigned to each master in the system. However, if more than one DECT system operates within the same coverage area, each system need to have a unique PARI assigned in order to differentiate the systems.

To see the occupied system IDs of other Avaya IP-DECT systems within the coverage area, perform an RFP scan using the following procedure:
