The IP Office installation software is a 64-bit images that requires UEFI boot support, with secure boot disabled. You must check those values and settings in the server BIOS before installing the IP Office software.
Access the server BIOS settings following the instructions for the Avaya Solutions Platform being used. For example, on a Dell R260 or R660 based server:
Power on the server and press F2.
Select .
Select the SATA Settings menu:
Check that the Embedded SATA setting is set to ACHI Mode.
Check that Write Cache is Enabled.
Press Esc to exit the menu.
Select the Boot Settings menu:
Check that Boot Mode is set to UEFI.
Select UEFI Boot Settings and check the order of boot devices is as required.
Press Esc to exit the menu.
Select the System Security menu:
Check that the Secure Boot is disabled.
Press Esc to exit the menu.
Press Esc to exit the BIOS menus and when prompted, save the new option.
