The following changes apply for IP Office R12.1 SP1.
Avaya Wireless DECT
Support for Avaya Wireless DECT R5
IP Office supports the R5 release of Avaya Wireless DECT as well as the existing R4 release.
To reflect this, the IP Office documentation now uses the term Avaya Wireless DECT rather than DECT R4.
The R5 firmware is not include in the IP Office R12.1 admin suite installer. You can download the firmware from the Avaya support website.
Support for 1500 DECT extensions with Avaya Wireless DECT R5
With Avaya Wireless DECT R5, the maximum DECT extension capacity on a Linux-based IP Office primary or secondary server has increased from 750 to 1500.
The total extension capacity, DECT and non-DECT, must still remain within the extension capacity of the IP Office system and the whole IP Office solution.

The restriction that TLS extensions count as two extensions for IP Office capacity planning does not apply to the Avaya ASP 110 DELL R660 SRVR A2 IPO server.

IP Office supports Microsoft Hyper-V on Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025.
