Configuring park slots

About this task

You can set the number of available Park Slot buttons and the IDs associated with each button.

Procedure

  1. Click Preferences Preferences.
  2. Select Park slots.
    1. Click New to add a new park slot.
    2. Click Edit to modify the selected park slot.




  3. Configure the park slot as required:

    Park Slot ID

    Each ID can be alphanumeric, containing both numbers and letters. The ID should not include spaces.

    Note:

    If you need a secure parking slot, configure the park slot ID with text. You will not be able to unpark the call using normal telephone dialing. Instead, you will need to use an application Park Slot button set to the same text.

    Shortcut

    A keyboard short cut that enables the operator to park or unpark a call into a specific park slot. The short cuts can also be edited through the Keyboard Mappings menu
  4. Click OK.
