For IP500 V2 systems, private inter-system trunks require voice networking channel licenses. These are used for:

• IP Office Small Community Network (SCN) connections to other IP500 V2 control units.

• H.323 IP trunks. Each simultaneous outgoing call uses 1 license.

• Q.SIG trunks. On Q.SIG trunks, the number of calls is limited by the trunk type rather than available licenses.

Additional licenses can be added to achieve the number of voice networking channels required.

• R10+ licenses can be used with R10.0 and higher systems. Other licenses are R12.0 specific licenses.
