The IP Office server software is available in a number of different virtual server formats. For example; VMware, Hyper-V and Azure. These can be used to create virtual IP Office servers on the matching virtual server platforms.
Once a new virtual server is launched, it behaves and is configured for its IP Office role in the same way as physical IP Office server PCs.
Customer's can use their own virtual server platforms for their virtual IP Office servers. Though its PoweredBy program, Avaya also supports the provision of virtual IP Office servers running on its virtual server platforms.
