Mapping the virtual machine DVD to an ISO file in the datastore (vSphere web client)

Before you begin

Use the process above to upload the ISO file to the datastore.
Right-click the virtual machine and select Edit Settings.
1. To locate a virtual machine, select a datacenter, folder, cluster, resource pool, host, or vApp.
2. Click the Related Objects tab and click Virtual Machines.
Expand CD/DVD, and select Datastore ISO File from the drop-down menu.
Browse to select the file and click OK.
Click Edit and select Connected next to the datastore ISO file to connect the device.
Click OK.

You can now download the ISO to the virtual server using the DVD Primary Server option in the IP Office Web Manager menus. See Downloading the ISO from the primary DVD.
